Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Distance: about 460 km | Driving time: about 7–8 hours

We start our trip early in the morning from Fes and drive toward the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, a clean and quiet town with a European look. After that, we go through the cedar forest near Azrou, where the locals say that monkeys are waiting for you. We will make a little stop and then we head to Midelt for lunch.

In the afternoon, the area around us gradually changes as we continue our journey through the mountain roads and desert parts. We go through the charming Ziz Valley, a place full of palm trees and oases. At the end of the day, we come to Merzouga, a place that is on the border of the Sahara Desert.

On camels, you cross the yellow sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and enjoy a calm sunset. Dinner and overnight at a luxury camp in the desert under the sky full of stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Distance: about 270 km | Driving time: about 5–6 hours

You wake up early to see the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we leave the desert and drive to Rissani, a small town known for its traditional market. You have time to see local life and old trading streets. We then continue our journey toward the Todra Gorges.

Here, you can enjoy a short walk between very high rock walls and feel the fresh air. After lunch, we drive through quiet valleys and small Berber villages. In the evening, we arrive in the Dades Valley, where you have dinner and spend the night in a comfortable hotel or riad.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Distance: about 330 km | Driving time: about 6–7 hours

After breakfast, we leave the Dades Valley and drive along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. We pass through Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the desert. We then visit Ait Ben Haddou, a famous mud-brick village and UNESCO World Heritage site.

After an hour of liberty to walk around and snap your pictures, we are going over the High Atlas Mountains by way of the Tizi nTichka Pass. We have a photo session break on the way with the nature views. Nightfall lights up our journey through Marrakech where we transfer you to your hotel, airport, or train station.
