The 6 Days Desert Tour from Casablanca to Marrakech is a popular tour in Morocco, beginning at the imperial towns of Casablanca, Marrakech, and Fes. During this 6-day trip from Casablanca, you will experience camel trekking in the Merzouga Sahara Desert and explore a variety of sights and landscapes, including Ziz Valley, Todgha Gorges, Rose Valley, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and Tizi N’Tichka Pass.
The Morocco Golden Tour driver will meet you at Casablanca’s airport and transport you to Fes. If you arrive in the morning, you will tour Casablanca‘s most prominent landmarks, including the Hassan II Mosque.
Then we’ll drive to the Corniche, which is lined with beaches, cafes, hotels, swimming pools, and restaurants, before heading directly to Fes.
During the night in Fes, you will have opportunity to see the famous Bab Boujloud gate, admire the old architecture of Fes, and wander around for a while. Stay overnight in a riad in the Medina.
8:00 a.m. departure to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, with a stop in Ifrane, a Moroccan Swiss-style village, and via the cedar forest, where you will have time to watch the baby monkeys climbing the trees. Around midday, we arrive in Midelt, the capital of apples, and lunch at a local restaurant.
Then we will continue through the middle Atlas mountains and through the Ziz valley with its fantastic gorges. This valley is well-known for its palm groves and agriculture of various crops. You will arrive in Erfoud with innumerable “Mud ksars.” Erfoud is the site of the annual date festival in October and is well-known for its Marbre and fossils.
In the afternoon, you arrive at Merzouga‘s unique sand dunes, an hour camel ride through Erg Chebbi’s dunes, a nice spot for sunset, trek down to the camp, check in your luxury ensuite private tent with private bath and hot shower, dinner beside the bonfire and under the starry Saharan sky, local drumming and dancing, and an overnight stay.

Early morning wake-up to watch the sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at the camp, camel ride back to Merzouga, travel to Dades Valley via Rissani, where we will have time to explore its traditional big markets, and then to Todra Valley via many berber towns and villages before arriving at Todgha Gorge, one of Morocco’s most breathtaking places. Todgha Gorge is also a good place for hiking, and nomads come down from the mountains to pick water from the river. There will be time to walk and explore the area, lunch at the spot, and travel to Dades Valley and Dades Gorge, with stops at both including Monkey Fingers Valley, and an overnight stay at a hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel, a scenic drive by the dades valley, the track raod crossing rose valley with its Kasbah and ksars, in this part you can see very nice landscapes before you get to the oasis of Skoura and it’s beautiful 17 century adobe kasbah and visit it’s massive oasis of millions of palm trees, carry on to Ouarzazate for lunch and then to Ait Ben Haddou, the world heritage site and a background of about 20 International films, a walk through the kasbah, drive to Marrakech via the spectacular Tizi N’Tichka pass, stops along the pass, drop off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
Breakfast at the hotel, free time depending on your flight, then transfer to Casablanca or Marrakech Airport of your choosing.
