Your 4 Days 3 Nights Marrakech Desert Tour begins with an early pick-up from your hotel, riad, or the airport. We drive across the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi-n-Tichka pass. Along the way, we stop to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views and capture memorable photos.
Next, we visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This historic fortified village has been featured in many films, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and the series Game of Thrones. After exploring the kasbah, we head to Ouarzazate, often called “The Gate of the Desert,” where we visit the Atlas Film Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah.
We continue our journey through the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival. In the evening, we arrive at Boumalne Dades, where you will enjoy dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel or traditional riad.

Next, we head to the village of Khamlia, home to a community originally from Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Here, you will enjoy traditional Gnaoua music and dance performances. After lunch, we walk through a palm grove and then drive to the seasonal lake of Merzouga, known as Flamingo Lake, where you can spot migratory birds. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Merzouga.
After an early breakfast, we ride camels back to Merzouga village where our driver awaits. We then visit Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet, known for its lively traditional market, especially on market days (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays).
From there, we head to Erfoud to visit a fossil workshop, showcasing ancient marine fossils turned into beautiful decorations. We drive along the scenic Ziz Valley and stop for panoramic views. After a lunch break in Midelt, we continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can see and feed the friendly Barbary macaques.
