Day 1 :
Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara
The 2 Days Morocco Tour From Fes to Marrakech begins with an early pickup from the airport or your hotel in Fes. Then we drive south through Imouzzer to Ifrane, which is famous for its cold temperatures, snow, and alpine-style residences. It’s no surprise that it’s known as Morocco’s Switzerland. Then we head to the cedar forest, where the Barbary Macaques live. Feel free to feed them while strolling through the forest. Later, we will travel to Midelt, where lunch will be provided. Then we go to the Sahara desert, driving across the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and down the Ziz river.
at the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga. You switch to camels to cross the sandy desert. A pause will be made for you to admire the spectacular sunset from the top of a high dune. Then proceed to the desert campsite. Where you can listen to Berber drum music while dancing around a campfire under the huge open sky of stars. Dinner and stay at the camp.
Day 2 :
Merzouga Sahara Desert – Todra Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
An early start is required to appreciate the stunning dawn in the middle of the desert. Breakfast is free before returning to Merzouga by camel, where the driver awaits. Then we leave the desert and travel west via Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has cut out a magnificent canyon through the mountains, creating a steep red cliff-sided gorge. Then we drive via numerous Kasbahs and palm tree orchards to Ouarzazate, where we have some free time for lunch.
Then we proceed to Marrakesh by driving past the famed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified hamlet designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has appeared in films like as Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV shows like Game of Thrones. Finally, we travel via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains to arrive in Marrakech. Then we drive you to the airport or your hotel. The tour has ended.
