2 Days Desert Tour From Agadir Itinerary :
Day 1 :
Agadir – Taroudante – Taliouine – Foum Zguid – Erg Chegaga
We left early in the morning for the old town of Taroudant, sometimes known as “Little Marrakech”. Admire the hues at the spice and clothing markets. We can go to a women’s cooperative. Following that, we will travel to Taliouine, the center of the saffron Presidium, to sample tea with saffron. Then we head towards Foum Zguid.
We’ll travel to Erg Chegaga, which has massive sand dunes. You will see a beautiful sunset, have a camel ride before supper, and spend the night in nomad tents beneath a thousand stars in a Berber bivouac in the heart of the Sahara Desert.
Day 2 :
Erg Chi gaga – Iriqui Lake – Taroudante – Agadir
After breakfast, we drive in a 4×4 vehicle to Foum Zguid across the dry Lake Iriqui. After experiencing what the Foum Zguid area has to offer, we will go to Taznakht and then to Taliouine for lunch. Then we return to Agadir, where our two-day excursion from Agadir to the Sahara Desert finishes.
In the early hours of the morning, we embark on a captivating “Date with the sunrise” in the heart of the desert. Rising early becomes a necessity to witness the most breathtaking sunrise atop a dune near the camp. After this mesmerizing experience, we return to Merzouga on camelback, where a delightful breakfast awaits. Energized, we commence our final day’s journey through the arid pre-desertic region, encountering the distinctive “acacia,” a typical tree in these landscapes. Along the route to the Draa Valley, we make stops to relish the scenic views of the river that lends its name to the valley—the longest river in Morocco, traversing the entire country and extending into Mauritania. Our expedition proceeds towards Ouarzazate, passing through the Anti Atlas. Enjoy some leisure time for lunch in the town, and in the afternoon, we resume our journey back to Marrakech, anticipating arrival around 8 p.m. Transfer to the hotel marks the conclusion of our services.
