Day 1: Arrival and Welcome in Marrakech

We welcome you at Marrakech Menara Airport and provide a comfortable transfer to your traditional riad in the Medina. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax or begin exploring. In the afternoon, we guide you through the heart of the old city. 

You visit Jemaa el-Fnaa square, a place filled with storytellers, local food, and music. We also take you to see the Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace. These sites show the charm of Moroccan culture. You enjoy dinner at the riad and rest well to begin your 5 Days in Morocco tour.

Day 2: Marrakech to Dades Valley via Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate

Your Marrakech to Dades desert tour begins with an 8:00 AM hotel/riad pick-up in Marrakech. We head southeast, crossing the High Atlas mountains with amazing views of Berber villages. On the way, we stop for photos and rest breaks.

Lunch is served in the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where you visit the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. This site has appeared in many movies like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. You explore the kasbah and learn its history.

We continue to Ouarzazate and stop at the entrance of Atlas Studios, the largest film studio in Africa. You may choose to take an inside tour. From there, we drive through the Valley of Roses and reach Dades Valley. You may visit the famous “monkey fingers” rock formations or explore them the next morning. We check in to your hotel or riad for the night.

Day 3: Dades Valley to Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we start our journey to the Sahara Desert. We drive through Tinghir and stop at Todgha Gorge, where you can take a short walk along the river surrounded by high rock walls. This is a perfect place for photos and enjoying nature.

We continue through the Ziz Valley and small Berber towns. Around mid-afternoon, we reach Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits. You ride through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the highlight of your 5 Days in Morocco tour. As the sun sets, you arrive at your desert camp.

Dinner is served under the stars, followed by local music around the fire. You sleep in a traditional tent, enjoying the silence of the desert.

Day 4: Merzouga to Fes

We wake up early so you can watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, you ride your camel back to Merzouga. From there, we drive north through the Ziz Valley, passing palm groves and local villages. We stop for lunch in Midelt.

Our journey continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you may see Barbary monkeys near Azrou. We pass through Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before reaching Fes in the evening. We check you into your riad and enjoy a quiet evening in this ancient city.

Day 5: Explore Fes and Departure

After breakfast, we guide you through the oldest part of Fes, Fes el-Bali. You visit traditional markets, old tanneries, and the world’s oldest university, Al-Qarawiyyin. The narrow streets and old buildings will take you back in time.

Depending on your flight or travel plans, we offer a transfer to Fes airport or help you return to Marrakech. This marks the end of your 5 Days in Morocco tour.
